I have no idea where this recipe came from and I always think its from this one old cookbook I have but then its not the same because I remember this one being magic and the other one isn't so ANYWAY:
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp Baking pow pow
1 cup milk
--------------
2 cups fruit of choice (obvs cherries or peaches)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp flour
- preheat oven to 350. Place butter in 9x13 pan (or like 2 pie pans, its pretty whatever). Place in the oven to melt while preheating. Remove when butter has melted (5 min)
- in a medium bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking pow pow. Mix in milk slowly until well blended. Pour batter in pan over butter. do not stir.
- Toss fruit with 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp flour. Distribute evenly over batter.
- Bake 50-60 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
